Our History

Theta Rho was originally founded at Gustavus Adolphus College in 1920 as a Rho Literary Society. In 1924 the Theta Rho sorority became the Theta Xi Gamma sorority.

Colors

Our organization's colors are blue and white. Blue signifies the sky and the lofty aspirations of our members while white represents the rich purity of the relationships and bonds within the sorority.

Mission Statement

As members of the Theta Xi Gamma sorority, we will strive to develop long-lasting friendships with one another and with others in the Gustavus Adolphus College Community. We will strive to better our community, our world, and ourselves by devoting time to serve others in need. We will strive to act as strong, positive role models in the community through our actions, words, and involvement. We will strive to accept and celebrate others for who they are, while fully accepting and celebrating ourselves.
